“Lola” Novaković (25 April 1935 – 3 April 2016) was a Serbian singer, hugely popular during the 1960s and to a lesser degree the 1970s.

 

“Riki” Sorsa (26 December 1952 – 10 May 2016) was a Finnish pop singer. He started his career in 1974 as the lead singer in the band The Zoo. He represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1981 with the entry “Reggae OK”, a reggae influenced song in Finnish.

Allah Dino Khaskheli was a classical singer from Sindh, Pakistan. He has many albums of Sindhi songs to his credit. He sang poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Sachal Sarmast and others.

 

John D. Loudermilk Jr. (March 31, 1934 – September 21, 2016) was an American singer and songwriter. Although he had his own recording career during the 1950s and 1960s, he was primarily known as a songwriter. His best-known songs include “Indian Reservation”, a 1971 #1 hit for Paul Revere & the Raiders; and “Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye”, a #1 country hit for Eddy Arnold the following year.

Ruth Terry (October 21, 1920 – March 11, 2016), was an American singer and actress in film and television from the 1930s to the 1960s. With her second husband, she moved to St. Genevieve de Pierre Fonds, Quebec in 1947.

 

Cauby Peixoto (10 February 1931 – 15 May 2016) was a Brazilian singer, whose career lasted from the late 1940s until his death in 2016. He is known for his deep voice and extravagant mannerisms and hairstyles.

Hagen Friedrich Liebing (nickname “The Incredible Hagen“; 18 February 1961 – 25 September 2016) was a German musician and journalist, best known as the bassist for the influential punk band Die Ärzte.

Candye Kane (November 13, 1961 – May 6, 2016), was an American blues singer and entertainer. She entered a successful music career after being a pornographic actress during porn’s golden age. She was recognized as an award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer in the blues and jazz genres.

 

Letetia Leonora McLean (8 January 1944 – 29 September 2016), better known as Nora Dean, was a Jamaican reggae and later gospel recording artist, best known for her 1970 hit “Barbwire”.

Ricci Martin (September 20, 1953 – August 3, 2016) was an American musician and singer. He was the son of singer Dean Martin and his second wife Jeanne Biegger and the sixth of his father’s eight children. He established his band, The Pack.
