DESCRIPTION:Ra Ra Riot is a rock band from Syracuse\, NY formed by Milo Bonacci\, Wes Miles\, Mathieu Santos\, Rebecca Zeller\, Kenny Bernard and John Pike. \nRa Ra Riot formed in January 2006\, playing at houses and venues around the Syracuse University campus. They recorded a demo in February 2006. The band started to attract attention due to their energetic live shows\, enough to gain an appearance at the CMJ Music Marathon\, fewer than six months after their formation. \n \nOn June 2\, 2007\, at 3 a.m.\, the band’s original drummer\, John Ryan Pike\, of Hamilton\, Massachusetts\, went missing under suspicious circumstances at a party at Wilbur’s Point in Fairhaven\, Massachusetts after a show in Providence\, Rhode Island. A search party discovered his cellphone on the beach at Buzzard’s Bay. His body was discovered June 3\, 2007 at 4:10 p.m. in Buzzards Bay; Pike was believed to have drowned. No foul play was suspected. Ra Ra Riot issued a statement a few weeks after Pike’s funeral that they would continue as a band. \nThe band’s third studio album\, Beta Love\, was released on January 22\, 2013\, and coincided with a live worldwide Internet broadcast of the band’s concert that night at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn\, New York. They gained a dedicated following in the UK in the mid-1980s as a post-punk/gothic rock band with singles such as “She Sells Sanctuary”\, before breaking mainstream in the US in the late 1980s as a hard rock band with singles such as “Love Removal Machine” and “Fire Woman”. The band fuse a “heavy metal revivalist” sound with the “pseudo-mysticism … of the Doors [and] the guitar-orchestrations of Led Zeppelin … while adding touches of post-punk goth rock”. Since their earliest form in Bradford during 1981\, the band have had various line-ups; the longest-serving members are vocalist Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy\, the band’s two songwriters. \n \nIn July 2009\, Astbury announced that the Cult would not record or produce any more studio albums\, focusing on EPs and digital releases instead for new material\, though he subsequently changed his mind and declared that there would be another album in the near future. Alexandru Sura)\nKAPUSTIN Quatuor à cordes No.1 0p. 88\nPUCCINI Crisantemi\nPIAZZOLLA Tango Ballet \nAlexandru Sura\, cymbalum\nNé en 1980 à Chișinău\, en Moldavie\, le talentueux Alexandru Șura a commencé l’étude du piano à l’école de musique “V. Poleacov”. Deux ans plus tard\, il prit part à la classe de cymbalum du lycée Ciprian Porumbescu. Depuis l’âge de 12 ans\, Alexandru a gagné de nombreux et prestigieux prix lors de compétitions nationales et internationales. Vers le même âge\, il commença à jouer avec certains des orchestres les plus prestigieux de Roumanie et de Moldavie\, dont les orchestres académiques “JOC” et “LAUTARII”. Depuis ses débuts en solo\, il a donné de nombreux concerts et récitals dans des salles telles que le Philharmonique National (Moldavie)\, la Place des Arts (Canada) et a fait des tournées et apparitions au Canada\, aux États-Unis\, en Roumanie\, en Autriche\, en Russie\, en Allemagne\, en Biélorussie\, en Israël\, en France\, en Espagne\, en Suisse\, en Pologne\, en Estonie et en Turquie. \n\n  \nAlexandru a une technique d’interprétation pleine d’élan et un son d’une rare finesse. Il est émotif dans tout ce qu’il fait\, mais il use de cette émotion pour transmettre un message musical au public au travers l’expression de son interprétation. Son répertoire est riche et varié\, allant de la musique traditionnelle\, aux spectacles folkloriques\, au préclassique et au classique jusqu’aux créations des compositeurs contemporains. \nAlain Aubut\, chef\nDiplômé de la Faculté de musique de l’Université de Montréal où il a étudié le violoncelle sous la direction de Yuli Turovsky\, Alain Aubut s’est produit en concert à travers le monde et enregistré plus de 40 CDs avec l’Orchestre de chambre I Musici de Montréal sous les étiquettes Chandos Record et Analekta. \nAlain Aubut a fait ses débuts en tant que chef d’orchestre en mai 2011 avec l’Orchestre Nouvelle Génération – une prestation qui lui valut d’ailleurs les éloges de la presse montréalaise. \nOrchestre Nouvelle Génération\nL’Orchestre Nouvelle Génération (ONG) réunit une douzaine de jeunes solistes virtuoses présentant des interprétations enlevantes et dynamiques du répertoire pour orchestre de chambre. Fondé en 2011\, par Yuli et Eleonora Turovsky\, l’ONG a rapidement conquis les mélomanes par le très haut niveau de jeu de ses musiciens. Sous la direction artistique de Natasha Turovsky\, l’ONG se distingue par sa recherche de renouveau lors des performances.
