Power blues singer DANA FUCHS has got quite a star package that can bring her the attention her talent deserves. The tall sexy brunette has a great Janis Joplin-like voice, that actually got her a key role in the fabulous Accross the Universe movie, based on Beatles songs. Friday, on the first evening of the 2015 Montreal Jazz Fest, she closed her electrifying performance at the Montreal Jazz Fest with her “Janis-style” interpretation of the heaviest Beatle song ever, Helter Skelter. Sexy, energic, powerful, Dana Fuchs is quite a presence on stage! Constantly moving, kneeling close to the crowd, or near her bassman’s crotch while he’s playing an inspired solo, headbanging with her extra long curly hair up and down relentlessly, screaming like there’s no tomorrow! She will have to develop a stronger repertoire in order not to focus solely on her (amazing) voice, but otherwise, Dana Fuchs gives quite a show! Yeah, rock on!
