Scott Weiland, “one of rock’s most dynamic front men” (Spin Mag), and his band the Wildabouts have just announced that they will perform in Toronto at The Mod Club on Thursday May 7, as part of Canadian Music Week. Weiland and the Wildabouts’ guitarist Jeremy Brown, bassist Tommy Black, and drummer Danny Thompson, have a comradery fostered by years of jamming and touring together. After touring for several months in 2013, they hunkered down in Weiland’s Southern California studio and rehearsal space to write and record what would eventually become Blaster.

Scott Weiland has cumulatively sold over 44 million records worldwide with Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. He’s garnered two Grammy Awards in the category of “Best Hard Rock Performance”—in 2005 for “Slither” and in 1994 for “Plush”.
