(News Release from Yep Roc Records) – Yep Roc Records is proud to announce the signing of Denver-based indie rock band Dressy Bessy. Comprised of Tammy Ealom (vocalist/guitarist), Craig Gilbert (drummer), Marcus Renninger (bassist) and John Hill (guitarist), the band will release their first studio album in seven years in early 2016.

Premiering last week, this month’s installment of The Sawyer Sessions was shot at DB (Daniel Boone) Traders, a local Hillsborough, NC-based antique store that not only shares the same initials as the band, but also appeals to their aesthetic. Featuring stripped-down performances of two new songs – “Lady Liberty,” “Make Mine Violet,” – from the band’s forthcoming album, the segment also includes, “Flower Jargon,” from their 2002 album, SoundGoRound.
