MAZZY STAR “Seasons of Your Day” The Californian duo of Hope Sandoval and David Roback created some of the most beautiful and mysterious albums of the 90s on three albums that went on to be iconic. Mazzy Star didn’t survive to the pressure of major labels who wanted them to sell more albums. Sandoval and Roback went on solo projects, the latter also acted, as Sandoval’s voice could be heard on many artists’ work (Jesus and Mary Chain, Massive Attack, the Chemical Bros…).
