A few weeks ago, I’ve asked my team at RREVERB to tell me which were their favorite songs from the first 6 months of 2015 (this could be extended to songs released late in 2014). They came up with a wide variety of music that went into many genres: a lot of indie rock, of course, but also pop music, electronics, a bit or world, some French songs, and a lot of folk too. I’ve tried to do my best to create a playlist that can be listened in a sequence, even though the music styles included in these 61 songs were quite diverse. From Heems to Shilpa Rey, we’ll go through big names likes Blur, Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, The National and St. Germain. We’ll also discover a bunch of new artists like Best Coast, Viet Cong, Wand, Alabama Shakes, Baden Baden and many more. Just crank up the volume, press play and enjoy the ride!
