Cate Le Bon is a Welsh singer-songwriter, now based in Los Angeles. She sings in both English and Welsh.

Le Bon is singled out by critics for her “beautiful, haunting voice”. Le Bon claimed that “early experiences with a string of pet deaths had a profound lasting effect on me” and informed her initial self-admitted “abnormal fixation with death”.

Le Bon released her fourth studio album, Crab Day, on 15 April 2016 on Drag City to critical acclaim. The album was produced by Josiah Steinbrick and Noah Georgeson and recorded at Panoramic House, a hilltop mansion in the coastal town of Stinson Beach, California.
