5: Irish entertainer and folk musician JIM McCANN (age 70) was a member of The Dubliners in the late 70s.

11: Three Dog Night keyboardist JIMMY GREENSPOON (age 67) died of metastatic melanoma.

12: EROL BÜYÜKBURÇ (age 78) was a very popular and prolific Turkish singer-songwriter, pop music composer, and actor.

30: JEREMY BROWN (age 34), guitarist for Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts, died one day before their album release. He would soon be joined by the star singer.
