Tempel Arts is proud to announce that Al Berkowitz will relocate to London this November to work on new music to be released in 2016. The experimental rock project commanded by producer/musician Ignacio Simón has been preparing some new material all through this year and has recently lodged at Kirkbride, Cumbria (UK) for a five week stint to kick off the recording proccess. After this brief retirement in Northern England, Simón will definitely settle in Chesham (London) to resume this work at his newly set home studio. Al Berkowitz’s stay in London will be a long one, as it will last until 2017.

Al Berkowitz’s next releases will jump away from his former works and will surely be a pleasant surprise to both his followers and detractors and will drink from numerous genres and influences, from psychedelia to avant garde classical; from folk to ambient electronica.

Al Berkowitz’s last album, A Long Hereafter / Nothing Beyond, has been recently published on Tempel to critical acclaim. This is Al Berkowitz’s first LP since 2009’s Barely Nice. A Long Hereafter / Nothing Beyond is available on Tempel’s website for free download and also on digital platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.

This vibrant video for the song  “How could we get ourselves lost?” goes along with this last release. The video has been recorded by Spanish filmaker Mariuca García- Lomas, a long time collaborator with the band.

A Long Hereafter / Nothing Beyond culminated a series of releases arising from those same sessions which have multiplied their followers lately: the singles The Frenchman  and The Rabbitman and Magical Cynical and the EP A Better Way.

Al Berkowitz’s music is available for free listening and download at tempelarts.com and at Al Berkowitz’s official website:  www.alberkowitz.com
