POP has bad press. For many, it isn’t a “noble” style. They find it commercial, and cheezy. Made to sell. But not ALL pop music is bad. There are some pretty good songs and bands out there that really need to be listen with an open mind, to fully appreciate their craftsmanship and musical talent. Their music sells? Good for them. RREVERB’s staff doesn’t snob pop music. We just carefully handpick it though the mass.

Here are a few of the best pop songs we had the chance to listen in 2014. Great stuff from Stromae, Nikki Yanofsky, First Aid Kit, Ray LaMontagne, superb soul singer Paolo Nutini, English stars London Grammar, as well as Kelis, Sylvan Esso and OK Go, who always deliver great video clips, on top of catchy choruses.

Simply click PLAY ALL to hear these 12 bombs! Enjoy… and appreciate these great pop songs.
